The Last Best Conference

Since 2016 Last Best Conference has been a place to learn from innovators, gain new skills, and leave with a new community of friends and supporters. 

According to the Kauffman Index, Montana ranks in the top in the nation for startup activity. With this entrepreneurial state as the backdrop, this event’s connection-based model comes from Austin’s SXSW and Portland’s World Domination Summit and aims to leverage that innovative, community-building, and artistic energy into a curated, experience called Last Best Conference. 

Montana’s second-biggest city, Missoula hosts Last Best Conference this May 28-29 with goals to position itself as a leading regional hub by drawing attendees from Billings to Spokane to Boise. The “Last Best Place’s” big skies have inspired the big dreams of writers, artists, advocates and business leaders for generations, and Last Best Conference is bringing speakers from around the country who will inspire attendees to pursue their passions and create, innovate, and explore. Here’s what attendees can expect at this year’s conference: 

• Community-led breakout sessions in between mainstage speakers to build relationships between innovators with like interests

• Local business leaders pitching in to lead hikes, runs, yoga sessions, and more
