Charlie Beaton - Owner, Big dipper ice cream
Serving up handcrafted ice cream since 1995, Beaton is the proud owner of Big Dipper Ice Cream located in Missoula, Helena, and Billings, MT. Big Dipper has garnered nation attention from an appearance on Good Morning America to being chosen as one of America’s Best by Food and Wine Magazine, USA Today, among others. As a UM graduate, Beaton has turned a job he loved doing in college at Goldsmith’s in downtown Missoula into a franchise business. In the last four years, Beaton has partnered with the National Park Service for Yellowstone and Glacier national parks to provide ice cream.
